Snacc is operated by Issorite Technology ("Issorite", "we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Issorite Technology and govern your access to and use of the Snacc mobile app and the snacc.fyi website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Snacc.
1. Who can use Snacc
You must be at least 16 years old to use Snacc. By using the Service you confirm that you are 16 or older, that the information you give us is accurate, and that you will keep it up to date. Snacc is built for members of Nigerian university and campus communities.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send you. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and device secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Each account is for one person. Tell us immediately at support@snacc.fyi if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you post on Snacc. By posting, you grant Issorite a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (for formatting) and distribute your content, solely to operate, promote and improve the Service. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account, except for content others have resnacced or where we must retain a copy to comply with the law.
You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it. You must not post content that breaks our rules.
4. Rules of conduct
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms. Among other things, you must not:
- Harass, bully, threaten or incite violence against anyone.
- Post hate speech or content that discriminates against people.
- Post sexual content, nudity, or any content that sexualises minors — which is strictly prohibited and reported to the authorities.
- Impersonate others or create fake or misleading accounts.
- Post spam, scams, or content designed to defraud people.
- Manipulate engagement, views or earnings through fake or automated activity.
- Share other people’s private information without consent.
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s intellectual property.
5. Moderation and enforcement
We may review, remove or restrict content, and warn, suspend or permanently ban accounts, that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or that are harmful, unlawful or abusive. Where possible we act proportionately, but serious violations — such as child sexual abuse and exploitation — result in immediate removal and a permanent ban. You can appeal a decision by contacting support@snacc.fyi.
6. Earnings and withdrawals
Snacc may let eligible users earn based on engagement with their content, such as views and reactions, within their campus. Earnings accrue to your in-app balance and do not represent a bank deposit, a security or a guaranteed payment. We may set, change or discontinue eligibility criteria, rates and features at any time.
- You can request to withdraw your available balance to a Nigerian bank account through our payments partner, Paystack.
- For your security, sensitive actions such as withdrawals require you to confirm a code we email you.
- We may review, delay, withhold, reverse or cancel earnings or withdrawals that we reasonably believe result from fraud, abuse, error, or breach of these Terms.
- You are responsible for any taxes due on amounts you receive.
7. Third-party services
Snacc relies on third-party services such as Paystack (payments) and Giphy (GIFs). Your use of features powered by them may also be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
8. Intellectual property
The Snacc name, logo and the Service itself (excluding user content) are owned by Issorite and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
9. Disclaimers
Snacc is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content posted by users is accurate or appropriate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Issorite will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or earnings, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Issorite harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Snacc and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the law, or to protect the Service and its users. On termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms end.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Snacc after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You agree that the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Snacc, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
